Sally Hansen... Sun Kissed Stamping

I love stamping, but I don't understand why some of these makers of the stamp plates don't make the "full nail" images big enough for my full nails! I never considered myself to have large nail beds...I have seen bigger. I know they are not small either... I have seen smaller too. What gives? I have average nail beds, or at least I used to think that! I tried  a few different images and they were all too small for all my nails except my pinky nail! I now think I have man hand or something...what gives?

Anyone know of a company that make bigger designs?...because clearly my man hands need them!

Love this design, but you can see on the sides of my nails where they lack the design. :(

For this manicure I applied the following:
  • Milani Smoothe Base Coat (applied previous day)
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Sun Kissed...2 coats (applied previous day)
  • Out the Door...1 coat (applied previous day)
  • Nail Plate RA 113
  • Konad Special Polish in Yellow For Image Color
  •  Sache Vite...1 coat

  1. Oooo I love that color combination (and that stamp image haha)! I had the same problem, I was all wtf I have fat nails?! I find if I'm careful enough about lining it up I can fit a full Red Angel image. Took me a while to get it and I still have to go back for some spots but it's WAY better than the crap little plates that came with my stamper.

    1. It looks like it should fit all my nails just fine, except my thumbs. Practice, practice, practice! I guess I will always have a crazy looking thumb design though because I don't think I will ever be good enough to stamp my thumb twice and have the designs align right...that sounds really hard! :0

  3. Red Angel has like the 'standard' size for the images, but you can also check the DRK plates! They have awesome images and they're larger than the stamper so no worries about lining it up on your nail. I have DRK-A and love it. They recently released DRK-B and it looks pretty nice too, you can find both on Ninja Polish :)

Lovely manicure anyways, from afar you can't tell it's missing some pieces here and there!

    1. Gland you like my mani and thanks so much for the info about the DRK-A and DRK-B plates. I just researched it further and I am sooooo getting them! As a matter of fact, I just went to Ninja Polish to order them, but they are closed until June 11...so I have to wait two weeks...I hate waiting! :(
