Multi Color / Skittles Mani... Wet n Wild Megalast Club Havana, Tropicalia, Candy-licious / Rose Bonbon

I have a multi color / Skittles mani for you today. I wanted to do a quick base coat that would dry quickly so I could get some work done around the house. A quick base coat that would dry I knew would be one of my Wet n Wild Megalast polishes, but I could not decide on a color. So I did all three that I had pulled from my stash.

After getting done the house work over the next day and a half I got a bit of tip wear...sorry about that. I was going to do a floral stamping, but I scraped that idea after seeing all the tip wear. :(

For this manicure I applied the following:

• OPI Nail Envy Base Coat
• Wet n Wild Megalast Candy-licious / Rose Bonbon (pinky & index fingers)...2 coats
• Wet n Wild Megalast Club Havana (middle finger)... 2 coats 
• Wet n Wild Megalast Tropicalia (ring finger)... 2 coats
• Seche Vite Top Coat...1 coat

I think these colors work really well together. But I think my favorite is the orange...Club Havana. What do you think? Do you have a favorite?

Spring Is In The Air!...OPI My Vampire Is Buff... Konad Special Polish

Happy Friday Ladies! I had a very productive day off today. Part if that productivity was to do a  Spring theme manicure, post it, and I was able to sign up on Twitter and start figuring out how that all works. And over the last couple days I was able to set up a Pinterest account and get some boards and repins up on them. I still have to Pin up all my blog manis...yikes...sounds tedious!

So for my Spring themed mani I choose to do a full plate stamping in a pretty floral pattern from one of my Bundle Monster plates. Then when I couldn't decide which of my pastel Konad polishes to stamp over my neutral base I stopping arguing with myself and picked them all. :)

Although I am wishing I didn't pick the green because it does not show up very well at all! Yup you guessed it...the green is on my pinkie finger although it looks like I didn't stamp my pinkie at all! It's there! You can see it better in the close up shot below.

I am really loving how the pink stamping (middle finger) and the white stamping (thumb) turned out. I think those are my favorites....the blue (ring finger) is pretty too. I guess I like them all except that green. It just is not working with this base polish.

•  For All Stamping Konad Special Polish was used... thumb in white, index finger in light purple, middle finger in light pink, ring finger in light blue, pinkie in light green

• Seche Vite Top Coat...1 coat

Cupcakes... Party On My Yacht... Pretty and Polished

OMG...I finally got Pretty & Polished Jaw Breaker and a couple other colors and I am loving them! I am dieing to try Jaw Breaker because I have wanting it forever, but it did not go with my theme for this manicure. So I tried Party On My Yacht first because it looks perfect as sprinkles on the cupcakes. My theme is a Birthday theme. It is not my birthday, it is my dog's birthday. She turned six and she was spoiled with a ton of gifts...toys, treats, beds, jewelery...you name it she got it! : )

This is my first crack at any kind of freehand artwork on my nails. As I am looking at these pics I think my cupcakes look a bit like ice cream with sprinkles, topped with a cherry in a cup! Not sure what went wrong there, but I am going with this being cupcakes topped with *tons* of icing!  I guess I was a little over zealous when making the domes of the cupcakes...oops. That's OK this is how I like my cupcakes anyway...loaded down with icing. : )

I just figured it out... my cupcake bottoms are too wide! Cupcake bottoms are not as wide as their tops. As they bake the tops bake up and over the bottoms and then you slather it with all that delicious icing!

Yeah...these are ice cream cups....crap! Cupcake mani fail! : ( Booo Hisss!!! Oh well, ice cream still falls within the Birthday theme. I love ice cream too! : )

Candy-Licious / Rose Bonbon Stamping... Wet n Wild Megalast

I am not a huge lover of pinks or reds and I rarely reach for them when doing my nails (so why do I have over 25 pinks and 15 reds in different shades then?!?...anyway...). Today I reached for this pink by Wet N Wild Megalast called Candy-Licious / Rose Bonbon and figured, lets see what I can do with this. Of all the pinks I own this is the last shade that I would ordinarily reach for. But I have to say after I was done with the mani I really like it on me better than looking at it in the bottle! I am shocked because when I was opening the bottle I was thinking it was really kind of Pepto-Bismol looking and thought I was going to totally hate it.

I ran with the name of this polish since it was so fitting of the shade and I used this full nail stamping of candies and lollipops...totally cute stamp image! : )

Revlon Scandalous MEETS... Orly Bubbly Bombshell

 Thanks to Tropical Storm Debby, I had an extra day off work. Along with ten inches of rainfall, Debby brought some of Florida a few tornadoes, trees down all over the place, flooding everywhere, and some new sinkholes! So my boss called and said she was closing and did not want us coming into work because the roads were too dangerous. What to do, what to do with the extra time…yup…manicure time!

 I decided on doing a very sparkly mani with a bit of contrast… Revlon Scandalous… meet Orly Bubbly Bombshell! Then to tie it all together I did a little stamping over the Bubbly Bombshell. I selected a smaller stamping image and kept it close to the cuticle line because I did not want to cover up to much of the AMAZING sparkle of the Bubbly Bombshell... I just wanted to tie it all together.

These are both fantastic polishes, but I have to say helloooo Bubbly Bombshell! I am in love with this polish and if you are on the fence about it or are looking for some phenomenal glitter then I highly recommend buying it! It is gorgeous! It has amazing sparkle and then when I put on the topcoat it blew my socks off!

• Orly Bubbly Bombshell (on all except the ring finger)...2 coats
• Revlon in Scandalous (on ring finger)...2 coats

New Job Suitable? Wet N Wild Megalast Sugar Coat, Revlon Starry Pink

Well, I started a new job and I am trying to keep my nails subdued for awhile...maybe the first couple weeks...blahhhh! My nails were naked for the first two days! I just had a top coat on them. For today, I went with Wet n Wild in Sugar Coat and it is a very nice pink, but it just needed a little something more! What could I possible add to this mani that would not be too much? I was searching my stash and lookie what I found...Revlon in Starry Pink...perfect...a little glitter that is not too much. ; )

I love both these polishes. Wet n Wild Magalast in Sugar Coat was a nice creme light pink with a good amount of color in it, but it still needed 3 coats. It has the "ManiCurve Pro Brush", which I love and have *raved* about it previous posts. It is a great full brush, but may not be for those with narrow nail bed.

The Revlon in Starry Pink is full of both small and hex silver glitters in a nice base of light pink. The base of this polish is almost a spot on match of the Wet n Wild Megalast Sugar Coat.

Is this "New Job Appropriate" to you? Well, we probably will all think that it is, so I guess the real question is... Do you think Non-Nail Polish Addicts would find this to be appropriate for the work place?

Wet n Wild Megalast... Tropicalia... Pink

Today I have Wet n Wild Megalast in Tropicalia and this is a great polish as well! It is a lovely creme in a nice, bright pink...full of color. It applies very nicely and it's probably due to the big, fat, full brush they call the ManiCurve Pro Brush! I only needed two coats for full coverage and it dried very fast. Overall, I love this polish!

This brush is my favorite brush I have used to date. It is called a "ManiCurve Pro Brush" and no other brush I have tried is better, in my opinion. Those with very narrow nail beds may have a hard time with this brush...mine are of average size. It applies and spreads over the nail so nicely and it only takes two swipes to apply the polish on my nails and one swipe for my pinky....love that! : )

This is a great one, especially if you love pink! : )

Nicole by OPI... Kim-Pletely In Love... Pretty In Pink

I have been trying to keep my nail in Nailtiques Formula 2 Plus as much as possible and it is recommended in the instructions to apply it without nail polish over top. So that is what I have been trying to do to get my nail stronger and a bit longer, but I am having a hard time resisting all the nail polish I recently purchased.  I wanted to do something along the line of a springtime theme, so this is what I decided on...

 For this manicure I applied the following:

• Milani Smoothe Base Coat
• Nicole by OPI in Kim-Pletely In Love...3 coats
• Out the Door...1 coat

After the fist two coats of polish I really did not like the look of this manicure, but after the third application it wasn't so bad after all. Not my favorite color out there but not too bad. It is a pretty pink with 3 coats applied.

I am working on basic polishing techniques before trying anything too daring and difficult. I recently purchased a bunch of Nail Plates that I just can not wait to try! Baby step... I am taking baby steps, so that will be in due time!
