Essie The More The Merrier...Naughty Nautical Summer 2013 Collection... POLISH AND PACKAGING Swatch / Review

Essie The More The Merrier is the second polish I picked up from their Naughty Nautical Collection Summer 2013. I did have Naughty Nautical  and did post about that one.

THE POLISH
Essie The More The Merrier is a juicy lime green, creme polish. I do like this color. I do not have much like it in my stash. It is very, very close to Sally Hansen's Green with Envy.  Application was on the thick side just like Naughty Nautical. Also like Naughty Nautical, this formula was a let down for me. It was hard to work with. I did apply 3 *thin* coats. There was plenty of balding in the first two coats, but covered up with the third coat.

THE PACKAGING
The bottle is square with rounded corners comes with a labeling on the top of the handle. This makes it easy to see the color without any obstructions of a label on the body of the bottle. The handle is of the shortest and smallest diameter in a standard size bottle that I own. Holding on to the brush is a bit more of a challenge. The brush is a smaller size, narrow brush. Contains 15ml of polish.
THE MANICURE
For this manicure I applied the following:

  • OPI Nail Envy...as a treatment coat, 2 coats (applied previous day)
  • Milani Smoothe Base Coat....1 coat
  • Essie The More The Merrier...3 coats
  • Out The Door...as a top coat, 1 coat

  1. I do loveee Essie but not sure if I would purchase this color. I don't really even use green/yellow polish.
