Well, It is cold and windy here in Florida today. A perfect day to stay indoors and get some stuff done around the house or to just get some extra rest with a hot cup of coffee or tea. I did both and my cat, Harry clearly got some good rest in. I was doing my nails and when I got up from my polish table I placed my eyes on the picture below. Boy is he getting in some good sleep. I was snapping away some pictures and he did not budge. Is he too cute or what?

Anyway, I was really wanting to use this color since I bought it on Friday. I just got some time to do it today. It is called Hard Lemonade by Sally Hansen. It is a nice creme color, but it did take 4 coats. I might have been able to get away with just 3 though. It is a little darker of a yellow than Revlon Sparkle and Shine.
I can not stand how much space I left between the polish and the cuticle...grrrr! It is making me crazy looking at this in these pictures!
For this manicure I applied the following:
- Milani Smoothe Base Coat
- Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in Hard Lemonade...4 coats
- Out the Door...1 coat
But was the space so noticeable from normal viewing distance? :)

I can not see it that bad in normal viewing, but I know it is there and my eye is automatically goes to it every time I glance at my nails. Guess what I will be doing tomorrow? Taking this off and doing a new mani for sure! LOL. Thanks, he is super cute.

Harry is crazy. He does many weird things I have never seen a cat do. Love him!

DeleteI love the yellow. I always leave a gap from my cuticles. I can never clean them properly if it paint too close to it!
ReplyDeleteI do like that yellow too. It is a keeper. I have been trying to practice that technique of leaving space between the polish and the paint to make clean up easier too, but this one is just a little too much space for me. I will keep practicing. Lol

ReplyDeleteHe is unbelievable. This is what he does ever time I do my nail. He acts like he is exhausted from it all...you should have seen my bed after the 3 hour psychedelic mani. He had 2 other friends up there too...all passed out!
DeleteThis is a great yellow. It is a bit brighter and more intense than the Revlon Sunshine Sparkle, which is my yellow that I have tried so far.
